Has anyone here replaced CV boots? (1 Viewer)

Only one of mine was leaking: The inner small clamp/band. The factory bands, although probably fine for a mall machine, seem to be the root of LC CV boot leaks particularly ones that see off-road use. After looking at the clamp it seems there are better clamping methods out there that are able to apply more compression without the chance of loosening/stretching? The boots on mine appear AOK...

Shortly after my lift, one of my CV's has started to throw grease exactly how Spresso describes. I don't think I've lost that much yet. Is the added angle of the CV causing excessive grease to purge--will it stop in the near future? Is there a better clamp I can fit to it? The rubber also still looks good. 95k miles.
