Has anyone had an evaporator fail on them?

I had my evaporator fail on me yesterday, It had a very small leak that caused the freon to leak out over a two month period of time.
Has anyone had this problem before?

There was a recent thread on this. I'm not a search guru (i just tried) but it should pop up if you do the search. Is the leak in the passenger side? It's most likely the condensation. Either your drain is plugged, your gasket needs to be replaced or both.

Yes the water leak is a fairly common problem but I had an actual hole in my evaporator that was leaking refrigerant gas.
