Okay guys, looking for ideas on how you guys mounted your harnesses in your regular cab mini trucks. The reason for asking is that I cant run a harness bar through the cab like most people due to having to have the seats all the way back (I'm 6'4). So if anyone has any ideas, post them up!

So as to not compress your spine, the bar should not be too low.

Having said that... Harness's suck and a stock 3 pt should be plenty.

Yes it is. Just make sure it is completely latched.
Ask me how I know.

looks like Mark is either gasping in shock and aw, or causally snacking during all the turmoil

Yeah I know harnesses are supposed to be mounted shoulder height. I thought about maybe welding a piece of flat stock across the back wall to mount them to. Not sure how well it would work though.

Flopping on my side with 3 point isn't what I'm too worried about, being on my lid more so lol. Lap bet would probably save me, but can never be too safe.

I've decided to hold off on the harnesses for now. I've got a front end issue I need to deal with now, after wheeling yesterday.

Yea I have the 4 point harness in my 40, came with my old seats, but have never used the shoulder straps. Nice to know they are there if I think I need them, but have never got to that point. When the time comes I hope I don't figure out I need them a little too late.

right about now would be that time if I recall correctly

Well, you don't really know how far off camber you can safely get without flopping till it flops...

In this pic I found out.
