Hardwired USB Power Up By The Mirror? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking to run hardwired USB power up to the mirror area - not a cable hanging, but an actual port. Has anyone done it? I'm having trouble finding a spot up there or a part to do it with. I'm using it for running a hardwired Dashcam AND GoPro.

My alarm antenna wire goes up behind the headliner behind the mirror. If your cam install is semi-permanent, you could have your hanging cables (plugs) hidden behind the overhead console.

Thank you! This set up has served me well. The key is to buy a quality USB port, one that won't wear out and drop the USB cables due to gravity or vibration.
