G'day mudders,

Looking for some help (again) please. Took my shifter off to pretty it up, noticed a few bruises and having difficulty locating the correct part numbers.

In photo 1 - you can see some dents on the shift stick (on both sides from left-right movement). For a 26 year old I guess it is not bad, but what part is worn for it to do this?

In photo 2 - the tower dowels have some slight movement - should they be rock solid, will this contribute to the dents noted above? I'm guessing not?

In photo 3 - are all the parts I have taken out (except for the shift lever housing bush) and planning to replace if possible. Looking through toyodiy I am confused - for my truck with H55F 5spd it does not list the "spring lever spring seat" and it lists a "conical spring". Looking at the 4F on toyodiy, it lists the cap, spring, "spring seat" - but it does not list the "transmission shift lever ball seat" (I think it is the black rubber ring in the pic). (And looking at the SOR part number 062-77 I guess mine is cactus and the likely cause of the bruises to the shift lever?)

Hope this makes sense - any insights would be greatly appreciated. I need to order most of the parts from Japan so I am keen to make sure I get the right stuff.

Thanks azcruizr. I was working off that pic when I checked availability of the parts. But when I pulled the bits off, it did not quite look like the H55F in the picture. Mine looks more like the one below for the 4-speed, except mine also has the shift lever ball seat.

1. The H55F spring is listed as conical - mine is cylindrical
2. The H55F does not list the spring seat - mine has one
3. The H55F lists the shift lever ball seat, the 4-speed does not - mine has this seat although it looks a bit different to the SOR catalogue part

So I'm a bit confused about what I have - it looks like an H55F, is 5-speed - did the PO do something weird?
Thanks again for all the help.

The shift-lever ball seat from SOR:

All you need is:

BUSH, NO.1, SHIFT LEVER (FOR FLOOR SHIFT) # 33548-60020

and the other

SEAT, TRANSMISSION SHIFT LEVER BALL # 33505-60010
