950lbs sounds like a fully dressed and lubricated with lead engine but even that sound too much. I think it's closer to 750lbs and not 950lbs. I didn't actually weight mine but it wasn't much heavier than the 2F I pulled out.

If I did go with the 6 cylinder Cummins. I heard that there is one to stay away from due to a bad casting in the block. ???
