That looks really good. Any other plans?
Thanks for the compliment! Aside from everything that’s already done I’ve got a Grom VLine, Magnaflow Overland Catback Exhaust, and Baja Designs LED rock lights for the Prinsu Ridgeline Handles all on order.

I was thinking of doing a build thread to document everything done so far. No further plans for any armor or anything like that as I’m not planning to do any serious off-roading as we usually stick to fire roads when we go camping. Eventual plan is to get an overland trailer like a Turtleback in the future.

How do you like the Magnaflow Overland exhaust? Any drone?

Just ordered it on Friday, so can’t comment on this personally yet. From the YouTube videos I’ve seen and comments from other users on the forum, it seems to add just a mild tone and doesn’t drone.

Testing out my new RTT. Spent one night at Trona Pinnacles.

Thinking of cutting my rear bumper after this trip.

I need to make my way out to the Trona pinnacles some time. I regularly drive between Reno and LA on 395 so it only makes sense to stop by haha.
Our 4x4 club did Trona Pinnacles last year, very cool. A lot of sci-fi movies/shows (Star Wars, Star Trek, and probably others) have used that for set locations.

I want to get a rtt for when just me and my wife go camping.
Not all the rtt's are 2 person tents, most are 4 person. Albeit, most of the hard top tents will be 2 person.
You will love sleeping up there!!!
Just some of the benefits:
  1. In bad weather, your tent bottom isn't all muddy when packing up.
  2. You don't have to get up off the ground in the morning, just swing your legs out onto the ladder and stand up from a seated position!
  3. Great views.
  4. Much warmer than ground tents.
  5. Much faster setup/tear down.
  6. No deflating air mattresses!
  7. And many more advantages!

Thought I would come over from the 80 Series forum for a minute and say "Hi". Wife hit a deer and totaled our 5th gen 4Runner last month. She was hesitant at first, but I coaxed her in to a GX that she seems to be loving. And in the current market, a GX seems to be a lot better deal than a relatively new 4Runner anyway. I'm already showing her pics of several of your rides, and she seems nervous. I have an 80 to finish first though, so she's safe for a while.

You'll have seen me say it in a couple of other member's posts with their new GX's with that interior, I LOVE that red interior!!

Went to the Vet today to drop off the dog (big gash on her inside leg) the dogo injury not withstanding ran into a nice built out GX in the parking lot. Not many ones built out in the area so it was a pleasant surprise, even got to chat with the guy. Might have a new offroad buddy. His SSO bumper looked great in person.

I've never seen that bumper before. Definitely unique.
