Gutter Mount Question....

O, the clamps came in and everyone who was in got theirs.. wow these are really pretty. I think he's got a couple sets left if anyone else wants in, also he showed me a prototype of a cross bar, powder coated in the same metal flake gray. Sweet stuff, I'm diggin it..

(any one needs a Sr. Business Systems Analyst/Integration guy on their project?) ... what was the deal with the group order on those mounts, they look nice would like to get some and go the JMOOSE ramp/ roof rack varient... (see the other roof threads) ...

once i get my next project...

what company and what was the order process for the record ? when it comes to it i can facilitate the buy and distribute...

PM Groucho, either here or other on Rising Sun's site. He ordered 60 mounts made (10 sets of 6) to get the good price. He came up with the drawings and specs for the mounts and then found a place to manufacture and powdercoat them.

I think the African Outback system is what I am going with. I can put off that $700/800 ARB roof rack for another 6 months. Now I can focus on the ARB bullbar and Kaymar rear bumper aquisition.

That makes great sense - my ARB bull bar has paid for itself DOZENS of times.

I use the Yakima load system for now. The Hanna sliders provide a place to stand to access the box. I'm building a roof rack that will use the Quick & Easy mounts. I'll probably acquire a ladder from overseas once that gets mounted.
