remember the OJ birds-eye chase? we would see on the evening news, a helicopter vien, with the "perp" face down on the pavement, and half the state troopers sacking the vehicle.
wouold make for good entertainment.
i guess this is why i have seen troopers approaching a stopped car on the interstate, with the snap on the holster undone, and their hand hovering above the weapons.
BIG DIFFERENCE from state to state.
