yeah, looks like it... but..
"Visitors can get access to the canyon and the road if they buy a $25 land permit from the New Mexico State Land Office." channel 13.

Interestingly, I think with this permit you can access a number of restricted lands..... charging us is lame, but this could be interesting! Open up some new less-traveled locations.

I've done the Williams Ranch trip before . It is a easy day trip and the views from where the ranch house was are great. Le me know if you guys are headed out there. I'd like to go back there.
 
It'd be cool to see you again Mike, thanks for the offer. Camping season is upon us and we need to hit this place before the heat cranks up.
 
There is no camping at Williams Ranch but I know some BML land West of the ranch where there is a mountain covered in Indian Rock Art.
I'll be gone most of May with pre EXPO trip, EXPO and post EXPO trips.
