Fawk, that looks nasty...I can't beleive the dude was doing dirt jumping without a helmet, he was lucky that his head hit the dirt not rocks.

Part of me doesn't buy it. Every head wound I've ever seen has bled like a mo-fo. There's a serious lack of blood for that kind of wound. Also, his shirt is clean.... (like pointed out in the MTBR forum) why would it be clean if it bit it in the dirt?

I treated one or two bad head lacerations like that when I was a Paramedic. Looks legit to me.
I agree that the blood looks off, but considering the limits of digital photography, there's nothing suspicious about that wound. It looks like he's at the entrance to a building (hospital, would'ntcha guess?) and coulda spent quite some time in transit.

Yeah, so he's outside the community college theatre building where he and a buddy were messing around with the fake blood, wig, skin stuff. Why would he drive in a car taking him to a hospital with the chunk just hanging like that, versus have his or someone else's shirt on his head after putting the flap back up? And if he does have such a massive injury, why the slight grin and good facial skin color versus an expected pained expression and shocky pale skin? And why not a drop of blood on his shirt - not a freakin drop so much as a pinhead size fleck? Um, because he was wearing a smock while they messed around in the theatre department.
