$18250 - I am selling my 80 series to fund the purchase of my old 100 series from its current owner. This is not a quick flip - I purchased this from a friend on 9/29/20 with the goal of building my dream rig. However, when I got it to this level, I was no longer comfortable with the idea of wheeling it. In Western KY, the trails are tight, muddy, and densely wooded, so body damage is all but guaranteed. I would be sick if I destroyed one this straight.

This 1997 is NOT triple locked. Currently has 222XXX miles and climbing slowly (driven around town every day). Price is based on regional averages, but nothing reasonable will be refused.

If someone from out of town is interested in purchasing, I will pick you up in at your preference of Louisville, Nashville, Evansville, or Owensboro airports.

Please see the detailed list of maintenance, modifications, and known flaws. I have many more pics and a Carfax report available as well. Please bear with me as I learn how to use the interface on Mud.

Maintenance:
  • Date Unknown - battery within the last 12 months (lost receipt)

  • 10/29/21 - oil change, power steering hoses, shifter release
  • Fully detailed and ceramic coated on 10/24/21

TO BE PERFECT:

Mechanical:
  • Oil level light comes on intermittently - needs sensor. Doesn’t use or drip oil.
  • Manifold heat shield rattles intermittently

Exterior:
  • Paint is thin in some spots, most notably the top of the bumpers and fender flares, but not peeling if or flaking.
  • Wheels need refinishing
  • Dime size rusty spot on hatch, minor rust on front side of the rear fenders
  • Dog ear crease in the lower left corner of tailgate.
  • OEM tail lights would be nice
  • 2 chips in the windshield
  • Could stand to be undercoated - I didn’t want to hide anything when I decided to sell this
  • Antenna mast doesn’t work.
  • Scratch and ding on front bumper - both are repairable (from its one time on actual trails)

Interior:
  • Front seats don’t go back and forth, but motors run.
  • Sunroof doesn’t open, but motor runs.
  • Sunroof trim missing
  • Factory subwoofer blown, so disconnected
  • Aftermarket rear window motors were pre-wired backward, so switches operate in opposite
  • Drivers side control switch for passenger window cannot make window go up
  • Back passenger door panel is bubbling at the top. Not flaking or peeling. (Looks like a repair attempt).
  • Shifter leather was removed this week, but the rubber is in great shape. A temporary cloth cover will go on this week.
  • Minor stains on the headliner that improve each time I clean the interior.
I still have the 3rd row, 3 OEM center caps, the original steering wheel (in bad shape). A nice Camry wheel, airbag, and column will be included as well.
