spent the last few days ripping into my tail gate. it was alot of screwing around. though i could do it now in my sleep in 10 minutes...
i started at the battery and a blown fuse. then i ripped the dash apart to make sure there was power at the switch.
opened up the breaker.
finally made it to the motor...
i had power at all blue wires, but no go.
i ended up hot wiring the motor to test it and to lower the window.
the safety switch was the culprit.
had me scratching my head, and just to kick a brother when he is down, the door latch was out of adjustment so when i finally got the window working, i raised it lowered it but it wouldn't open.
i think i ripped it apart 3 or 4 times before i got it right.
but the gods have shined a favorable light on my endevors and i now have a 5 door pig.
i have only one more electrical item to fix, trailor lights. they must be the green wires some p.o. has hacked.
just found and airstream trailor... look pretty nice behind a pig.
