That is the plan. Although most likely baby number 3 will be here by then so I will need to make sure that the princess is still ok with it. She gave me the green light already but with a newborn I need to be flexible. Let's keep in touch, if nothing else I will come out on Saturday for the festivities. It is such a blast.

I'm still trying to get things squared away so I can go as a vendor ( my time may be OVER to do this...).. BUT, if not, I will go as a spectator one day.

I was kinda hoping you were going to say that you welded up your own chain steering wheel :grinpimp:

Finally made a little TO-DO LIST for Goss... I am going to try and knock one item off the list per day OR TWO...

After working on my 80 rear re-design bumper, notching more tube for sliders, cleaning and stacking all the cnc parts I brought home yesterday... I got the door panels removed, vinyl re-stretched and STAPLED... So, that item is OFF THE LIST... WOOHOO...

Did you make a new panel or reuse the OEM panel and just recover it?

Figured this was your steering wheel, would be fitting with your metal skills.

I've actually made one of those before... HOT AS HELL IN THE SUMMER!

Chain is fun to work with.. I went through that phase years ago. Funnest project was a boat anchor and chain mailbox stand I built for a retired Navy Admiral when I was in East Texas years ago.

Dash after 2 coats of paint and 2 coats of matte clear urethane. Should look good with the black dash cap I need to install soon.

I popped my knee yesterday so, I'm kinda laid up a bit. I doubt I'll build much in the way of armor over the next few days, but hopefully can sit on a stool and lay out my AC surround and get a custom grill or two knocked out...

Got to meet up with @Bear Lake Cruiser and his lovely lady for a little yesterday before the annual Blues and Brews festival. I hope to see you again soon for the 100 series sliders and R&D. Be safe heading back to ID and see you soon. Our door is always open T.

Cheers all,

J

Sorry to hear about your knee. We really enjoyed stopping by, Jenna had fun chatting with your wife while you and I talked cruisers. She said if we moved to Green river she knew she would have one new friend right off the bat. We had a blast at the festival, even with the heavy downpours, and took back roads home from flaming gorge over to Evanston. When I know what's up with my car and it's AC repair, I'll come up with a plan to get the '98 over to you. Thanks for spending part of your Saturday with us!

I have no idea what happened. All of a sudden it starting to swell and could I barely move it. I told Andrea that Jenna was living her life... Its been years since she has run across ANYBODY that has the same interests and passions in life as her. @spressomon will be here tomorrow to catch up and to look over the spressoWAGON.

Just let me know on the 100 a we'll work out the drop off details, etc...

Glad you two made it home safe.

Heal up that knee, no fun.

Do want :grinpimp:

x2 for your knee to get better J

Well to help me heal a little Dan @spressomon stopped by for a visit and got to show him a small portion of our little playground here in Green River and Flaming Gorge. He has one impressive 100. Great rig for a great guy.

It was great to see you my friend. Keep in touch and feel free to stop by anytime.

Be safe on your trip.

Now you won't be able to sleep for 48 hours until the 'spresso clears your system. The dude is seriously living the dream.

Good to see Spressomon back in the west though.

Spresso-stop by if you need a place to crash. Jeff's bedroom is free if you need it.

I need some of those rain gutter mounts. Just need to think for exactly what. Good looking product.

Andy, its always fun to see good people. I'll have mounts whenever you need a set and not sure if you saw the 8274 bumper, but Dan agrees... you NEED ONE.. HA!

Yes, I figure 120,000 psi "proof" load per U-bolt is plenty.

J
Do you mind sharing where you found those ubolts. Currently scheming how to bolt on my sliders and might like that idea better than the plate sandwich.
