When I first signed up on 'Mud, I had it set to "family safe" - or it was already like that, not sure which it was to begin with but it has worked with every browser but Chrome.

With Google Chrome, word-censoring that has been set up in the User CP is ignored and the use of 'ctrl' keys seems to not function as well. For example, when posting, I would quickly highlight a word, then choose 'ctrl + i' to italicize a word, or 'ctrl + b' to embolden a word. In Chrome, this feature does not work.

I have not checked this browser against my own forums, so I have no insight yet to offer.

Perhaps somebody has some insight with this?

My word censor is not working with IE 8.

Woody must be busy this weekend.

Italic works for me with CTRL.

Bold too.

woody's in gilmer wheeling. i love chrome, but it has its downfalls. has anyone been able to do the flash player upgrade with chrome? i tried doing it in ie thinking it would carry over, but it won't.:frown:

the word censor must be working differently with IE8 and Chrome....I don't know what you want me to do....you can use FireFox or I can try and contact the developer from 2006 and see if they can fix it for today's new browsers

I'm using Firefox 3.5.7, and the word filter is not working.

Bold and Italics work for me.

Thanks for fixing that, Woody!

Thanks for looking at that, Woody. Really, this is not too much of a concern for me, as I am not offended by any of it. My intention was to make you aware of the fact that something did not work, which can lead to complaints. If I were truly offended, I would simply have used Firefox.

No complaints here.
