Really? Ask the guy whose dog is now healthy after I diagnosed it as hypothyroid, from one short PM.

Do you really believe you have God-like powers that a drunk vet-school dropout wouldn't be capable of? The arrogance is astounding.

Interesting. I assume you know the lineage and it isn't just a best guess...(and if it is a guess, I don't disagree, though Occam's Razor would steer us towards other breeds in the mix...).

The short coat sure did turn out dominant... Is there any trace of an undercoat? The darkness of the coat does suggest other genetics are in there...

I found our dog through a trainer for service dogs. I figured he knew what he was talking about, it has a ridge and his demeanor seems to be par for the rhodesian breed. Regardless he has been a great family dog.

It keeps me up at night.

Gotcha, whatev then. Some people care what people think of them, some don't. Fortunately for you there's the internet, not much chance of real consequences to consistently being an ass online.

True. So? You're still consistently arrogant, and that annoys a few peeps here. Doesn't that concern you? Or do you not see it?

He comes by it honestly.

i have one old school pure bred with papers, he 1years old an an ass hole, but any one got a female, he needs to start paying his way, my other one is black lab hybred wolf mix, and he has finally calmed down.
and yes i am pimping my dog out hope no one gets mad.

I have actually considered a full size poodle.

they don't shed, have hair instead of fur, don't smell, have webbed feet and swim well...also, despite the common perception, they are quite ferocious and protective.

they look pretty good when not all poofed out by some old lady...

Good choice. Ridgeback not so much until the bebe is older.

I rescued a Shiloh Shepherd. Most loyal, smart, and even-keeled dog I've met. He's uber protective, but receptive to guests if a family member brings the guest in. Strangers are a non issue. He curls around my daughter until they get close and then goes into protect mode. I can't stress how this dog is like a shep with a doctorate.

ever think of a great pyrenees. they shed but tough as nails, if any dog has a chance at a cougar, it would be these dogs. My mom had one on her property, it ran off the coyotes and was great with my half bro and sis (they were little, 5 & 2). Thing was big too, almost 6' when he stood up and weight around 160.
