Thanks Cruiserpilot. Maybe it wasn't clear but I ran parallel #10's (2white, 2black) so as to share the load and potentially double amperage capability. May still not be enough for jumpers, but the two #10's is very close in size to the "cheap" set of battery cables that I had laying around, so my hope was to get away with one Anderson. Lordco only had two types on the shelf, a 50a and 175a. But if the CA's required for a jump are more in the 300-600 range, then even the larger Anderson would be too small. I hear you on the double run though...designated each Anderson for each piece of equipment...just more money.

Cool, if I was home I'd get together with you to see what you are up to. My biggest personal fear, which I
guess I passed on, if overheating wire without realizing it. Cause once that starts rolling, it gets ugly fast.
Do you have any clear pictures?

Yeah, DC stuff gets ugly quick...I remember mis-wiring a glow plug relay on a previous Cruiser about 20yrs ago...when I hit the switch I saw smoke and what was an insulated wire was now a bare one! Since then I had become an electrician by trade, but still the DC/Automotive stuff can wig me out when gremlins are present.

I'll post pics after the breaker is installed.

Ok, pics...I have my license plate on the passenger side front and because of the hose clamps I can pivot the license plate up, exposing the 60amp breaker and Anderson plug. I simply drilled holes through the bottom faring and the bolts are easily accessible through the fender well. Easy access and can reset breaker without opening hood. I still don't really like that I have 3' of line without a fuse between the battery and breaker, but it'll do for now.

First pic shows license plate up.

Second pic shows license plate down (hiding the breaker and plug).

Third pic is battery connections.

Fourth pic is wire routed behind grill and under, following winch wires to back side of front bumper.

PS: I noticed the leaves at bottom of rad area after pic and cleaned them up...sigh.
