Anybody taken a gander at the new GFC Superlite RTT coming out? I've been in the market for a RTT for awhile now, I was originally going to do the GFC Platform RTT but they don't have a mounting set up for the GX like they do the runner. Not to mention the fact you cant really store bedding which i think this new model retains. I couldn't really figure out what this new RTT mounts too, possibly the factory rails? Might just be able to swing some ruggedized rails and be in business. I figured I would throw this up here in case anyone else was possibly in the market like me, and see what everyone's thoughts were.

My wife and I love our iKamper RTT, but for a light weight and cheaper option, this does look pretty cool!

Yeah they have pictures of it on a 200, it looks nice and tight, I’d like to see more details on that...

Love the look and they make nice stuff but I'll never be interested in a RTT that isn't insulated. I would check for that first. The low profile is nice though.

Our iKamper is quite warm, although we'll be testing it this weekend.
We will be in the high desert around Trona, CA and the lows are to be around 30°F at night. Although it helps when you're sleeping with your spouse for warmth!!
This will probably be the coldest temp's we've used the tent. If I remember, I'll post some pictures and give a report on how that RTT worked when we get back.

Not a fan of RTTs in general, but that one comes closer to addressing my concerns than most.

I never go anywhere without the "buddy heater"! ;)

I have one of these ordered. I'll let you know how it works out when it's finally delivered sometime this summer.
Please do, I’ve been holding out waiting for some independent reviews. But since delivery keeps getting pushed I’ve been waiting awhile.

If possible weigh the tent. I was a bit put off when pricing didn't include the ladder or sleeping pad. I didn't care for the prop rod to hold it open either. I purchased the Front Runner tent instead. With my Exped MegaMat and dual sleeping bag mounted weight is 98 lbs, including mount brackets, ladder removed and stored in the GX.
