Hi all! I rear-ended a pickup truck with higher clearance than my 2014 4Runner in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia the other month. 4Runners are not sold in Africa and my garage doing the repairs cannot find replacement parts. Part of the problem is exorbitant import duties in Ethiopia. So one solution is to find someone in Ethiopia who has or can help get real Toyota parts.
A late-breaking American solution may have come up. A friend of a friend has space for some parts in a sea freight shipment that would not have duties on it. So I would need to find a good supplier of genuine parts that could ship them to Atlanta quickly.
I have a list of parts needed but it is extensive. I was only going about 20 mph but that pickup truck bumper really hit me in the grill. Lights, bumper, radiator, etc. is all needed.
