Hey guys I know how much everyone likes the Scepter fuel cans that we can no longer buy because of the new CARB laws. Here's a US source that still has some available. They WILL NOT ship to states with current CARB laws, so don't ask.

Their prices are actually pretty good too, considering what I've seen new ones go for on E-bay. If you order 10 or more they are $35.98 ea. less than 10 they are $39.98

I would order all I ever thought I would need as these are most likely the last of em available to us. The nice guy that took my order over the phone said they had about 2400 available! :bounce::bounce2:

Dang it i need someone who will ship to Texas I still cant believe we adopted those stupid laws

barrypt5 I'm not sure if they are compatible...I ordered Scepter's MFC spouts for my cans from the same link posted above. They have two sizes a 3/4 clear tube one for gas and a 1 1/8" one for diesel that is black, I have both and they are good quality just like the cans. Here's a picture of one of the boxes that arrived UPS.

Can someone PLEASE work out a reshipping option for those of us in the CARB state?

Yeah sure would be nice i called today and was going to ship them to my family in LA but nope wouldnt work because my credit card is address is in tx

The cans shipped to me were stamped Dec. 2008

Yes they are Scepter fuel cans for diesel fuel.
It is recommended if you are going to use them for gas that you change the gasket in the cap to a Viton gasket.
I have seen these for sale on Ebay in the past. If you do not change the gasket it will swell when exposed to gas and the little retaining ring that holds it in place will crack and no longer hold the gasket in the cap.
This doesn't seem to have any effect on the cans ablility to seal it just doesn't hold the gasket in place any longer...

The site referenced here is legit as sourced. I have a buddy who bought a couple from here along with a spout and gave me one can as gift. They also stock straps, gaskets, caps, etc...

I am that buddy in the previous post...this is a solid source for Scepter MFC's and accessories. The only issue is if you live in a CARB state...the won't sell you the MFC's, but if memory serves me they will sell the MWC's and other parts. Plus you can't hardly beat the price.

Tech-Supply, as well as any other military supplier in the US who had a remaining stock of pre-carb 2008 cans will no longer ship ANY Scepter cans or accessories as indicated in this thread. They were able to "justify" sales with this remaining stock, but Scepter is now threatening that they must comply. I have contacted 2 of the remaining 3 suppliers who used this loop-hole and they all share the same story. You must either be military or LEO in order to purchase if not I really hope you guys have a source or were able to purchase when they were available...
