Here is a gem for today, a side boom on the pipeline I am monitoring, stuck with a Nod-well trying to unstuck it, only to burry it deeper. They did eventually get it out though.

Is that right at the corner? As in, does the R/W deflect to the S behind you? If so... we did some crazy jumps at the base of that hill last year. That was also where I dragged behind the sled in an effort to get the mud off my helly pants. Sucks that you're still out there. It doesn't look like nearly the amount of snow we had a year ago. Wow... a year since I was out on that one. Can you take pics of what they've done at the Arch site at the border? Thought it would be odd to see the arch site bulldozed in AB and preserved in BC.

Actually, on second thought that looks like it might be uphill of the deflection to the W. I dunno. I'm just glad I'm not there.

It's on the BC side just east of the long muskeg there. They actually left a buffer on the border from the Arch site since we were boring anyway. Jim made sure to flag it off, since we had a cutting happy logger, so we didn't want that to happen there.

When we were at Knik, a bush plane flew in with a few tourists. I doubt they expected to see a couple trucks parked out at their remote fly-in touristy destination.
