These blue hub fan clutches are coming from Malaysia and I'm interested to get one but one stupid question though, are these fan clutches made in Malaysia or Made in Japan? I just want to make sure I'm clear on this one before I Paypal you my payment:grinpimp:. Thanks in advance.

Good questions buddy. It is from Malaysia, but made in Japan, just like the local Toyota fan clutch. :)

No sure if any asked but, do we need to do anything to this before we install it?

sorry if this has been covered before? I just need a yes or no answer and where to get parts if I need them to complete the install.

thx

If it sees hot weather, heavy use, I would upgrade the fluid. Ether change it to 10K+ or get some hobby store 30K and add ~15ml to the factory fill.

Not much hot weather, only in the summer, june, july and august. During the winter we make a couple of snow trips but that's all. My truck is not a daily driver.

Thanks guys.

I guess mine has been sitting in the garage for a couple days 'cuz my wife forgot to tell me it came in. Haven't decided if I want to change the oil in it or not. It really doesn't get too cold here in my neck of the woods.:)

Lim, payment sent via Paypal. Thanks.

I'm trying to figure out why people want to go to an earlier one rather than the current blue hubbed one....

I mean, if your cooling system is in tip-top shape, and you are using a good fan clutch with some 10K oil, everything should be kosher.

Am I missing something here or is this ealier fan clutch an attempt at being different?

:flipoff2:
