Gauging interest in a new tailgate cover

With that info, Richlite sounds perfect, actually. Thanks!

Ok, so order of preference? I'm just guessing slate, black, R50...?
I think I'd prefer the black, honestly, but the slate looks good. The brown would look pretty awful against my gray interior. I would think Black Diamond would be the best general choice if only one color is picked for everyone.

Gotcha. Yeah, I need to track down my sample kit. I have a sneaking suspicion the slate is much darker than on their website. I'll let everyone know.

I already sent David a PM with my selection, but I'll campaign here publicly for a Gatorskin option in tan that matches the Oak interior.

Anyone else with dogs who use the tailgate as a step or little ones who need a changing table?!

Thanks to @Trexboxx for bringing yet another cool product to market.

I picked the LineX because I'm not prepping food on my tailgate... I have miles of Richlite already in my TrekboxX system so choosing LineX made the most sense for me. One of the compelling things is the grip LineX has. I'm standing on the tailgate twice a day when traveling overland because my tent latches from the rear of the LC. Last trip to Mojave was a rain event and my theory proved right with the LineX - no slips.

Now having said all that - the Richlite is badass. If you want a surface that you can use for prepping and that is sturdy - it's the bees knees.

Get the word out guys! Right now we have 2 for tan LINE X, 2 for black LINE X, 5 for R50, 1 for Black Diamond, 1 for Slate, 2 for tan Gatorstep and 1 for black Gatorstep. So far the LINE X and R50 are the only ones where we have enough to move forward!

I would go gatorstep, but if we don't have enough I can do something else. I would prefer tan since my interior is tan, but black works also.

I'll take a richlite. I'm in. The "R50"color looks fine as a cutting board (which will be it's primary use), but if grey is available, it would be a slight preference (my interior and my drawers are grey).

Let me know how to send funds.

Roger. I'll have more info as things progress.

Interested, but need to consider the options. Durable but not rock hard and slippery is what I would go for. How durable is this Gatorstep stuff? How would it handle great dane toenails? Spilled beer?
If those are your needs I would recommend LINE-X. Bomber, least expensive, and not slippery. The Gatorstep seems to be a good product but frankly it's an unknown. I have samples that came in the dealer kit and it seems really nice, but I have no long term experience with it.

I'm in for a tan Line-X version, assuming it's a reasonable color match to the tan LX interior.
I'll PM you for details.

This is the tan color. It's not matchy-matchy, but it looks good.

I'm interested in a Richlite R-50, but want to ask how are these being mounted?

Direct bolt on with well nuts.

I'm also interested. I may have missed it, but what does shipping look like for something this size?

Not sure. I can get a general idea later today and let you guys know. Shouldn't be outrageous.
