@Spook50 I have the firewall hose, I’m just being too gingerly trying to get the old one off. Someone said in another thread that they manhandled it a bit and bent the brass piece the hose connects to.

Yeah those copper nipples are VERY easy to deform. I've found the best thing is to use a small pair of channel locks to GENTLY grip the hose and try to turn it until you feel it pop free. Then it'll be easy to remove.
