Here's my cut. I still need to clean it up before reinstall. Wasn't too hard. Much easier, and less risky that pulling the wiring harness through. I made several cuts to ensure i didnt cut too far. I used one of those oscillating tools with plenty of cutting fluid to keep it cool. Worked great!
