very nicely, i put 320 km on the truck since friday and on the highway the truck just purred with those tires. no problems on the hills and no overheating detected (no pyro installed yet).wesintl said:Hey Wayne... how does that little 2lt push those split wheels and tyres?

crushers said:i sit corrected, the tires i am running do only stand 31" tall.
this being said i have run 33" tall skinnies on the LJ71s with no lift and no rub...
your young lad has good taste..
the splits came off the PZJ75 and i couldn't give them away so i decided to give them a try. at below 105 km/hr you can not tell the difference but over that and you can tell you need a balancing, i do not kow how you would balance a split rim...SurfPonto said:I also like the rims you have on the LJ. They look like the OEM rims on my 40.
Speaking of the 2L-T. I found a site where someone actually swapped swapped in a 2L-T in place of his 22RE (4X4 Mini-Truck).
He says the 2L-T is a direct bolt in for the U.S. trucks that came with a 5 Speed and a 22RE engine.
Amazing what us unfortunate souls in the U.S. will do to get a Toyota diesel.
I even saw a 1985 2-wheel drive Hi-Lux PU go for $3500 on Ebay, and it was NOT in the best condition.
