Well, basically I am looking for a decent fuel tank (under seat) for the 68' I cleaned the old one out, and started marking all of the pin holes and ran out of grease pencil. So, maybe it would be better to start with a better one.

I have a poly tank, but it is for a newer style with all the lines. Mine only has the filler and vent, and one line to the engine.

Thanks,
Kelly

cap the return on the poly one. try it out. or pour the "sealer" in from like easton garage or something like that.. did that sealant on a 3wheeler tank. worked till neighbor's dad ran over tank. course i had given away 3 wheeler at that time to kid next door for mowing services.

Erik-

I was trying to not use the poly, because I have never heard good things about them, except for the price.

If I cannot find a decent used tank, I will order the por 15 sealant.

I have one that I took out of my 67 as far as I know it is good. I cleaned it out dead mouse and varnish, and painted it, after cleaning off surface rust and used POR 15 on it afterwards, no leaks that I know of. I don't need it. I wish you would have posted earlier I have been in KC the last two weekends. I also have the fuel filler neck if you need it. Any other parts you needing?

Make offer on tank and we will figure it out how to get it to ya. Please PM me. I will be leaving for TX tomorrow, so if I don't get back to you right away I will be back next week.

Pam
