Fuel Pressure Regulator Question / Hot Start (1 Viewer)

Hey FJ Friends,

Got a question relating to the Fuel Pressure Regulator.

My FJ62 starts great COLD but does not like to start up HOT. She'll start and then die quickly after. From reading the forums my assumption and first guess is it's the Fuel Pressure Regulator.

So I ordered one from CrusierParts. See attached image. The right one is the "new one" from CP. My current one (left) looks brand new in comparison.

My question is should I try to clean this new one? Flush it with something before installing it? Or throw it right on?
