Fuel gauge reading help

After parking my 04 GX on a slight incline in my driveway overnight I get bad readings from fuel gauge that I am out of gas or nearly out of gas when I still have 1/2 a tank. How can one correct this. Is there a way to recalibrate the gauge?

Sounds like a stuck float in the tank

After driving around on South Carolina's ruff roads it started reading right. Not sure what is going on here

yep, stuck float...looks like you banged it loose.

Weird it would get stuck on a half empty tank after sitting on incline

Pretty sure they can get bent/damaged if it was ever serviced and cause the problem. Either way... For sure would cause your problem.
