Any place to buy the physical book for a 2016 LX 570? Looked on ebay and saw nothing. Saw some for the earlier 200s but I'd like the updates for the newer ones. Downloaded Transmission and I'm not getting anything. Thanks.
I would be very surprised if anyone has ever published a hard copy. The thing must be well over 5000 pages when printed out....

Transmission seems to be having issues with this. Some people have had better luck with different clients.

Also I’m not sure that they even published a hard copy for the 16+ rigs. I can say the wait for this electronic version is worth it.. when it is up and running and you’ve learned how to navigate things it is much more compact and easy to use than the old paper copies. Embedded links being you right to other procedures instead of having to go find the page, etc.
agree 100%. at first i was browsing around with just random PDFs or screenshots of the FSM but once i got the full ISO and setup a webserver...it was a game changer.

the INFO blue links take you to the referenced pages.

i can seed it if you want..

I’ve generated a printable PDF. It’s 7000 pages

Can you share the PDF? I have been on this thread for a long time and seeded for a while but have never been able to get the downloaded version to work. I'd much rather have a searchable PDF.

Hello, I am new to this forum, and new to My 2016 Lexus LX 570. In way of experience I have never used a forum before …this is the first posting i have ever made. I love to wrench when it makes sense and am thankful for the content of these forums to help me to that end. The OEM service manual is an item I was looking for and came across this Thread and decided to give it a go…I am not that tech savvy. I was able to download the .iso file with the Transmission APP ( I am using a MacBook) and then installed the Abyss web server. After following the instructions (I think), I was able to view the information, but all the some information links (.pdf I suppose) kept giving me an "Error 404 not found” message. From the top I am selecting Lexus / LX 570 / TIS link on the top line / Repair Manuals / 2016-2021 (RM27B0U) [Mfr Date: 2015/08 - ] . I am missing something? can anyone help me? Thanks

Did you follow these steps?

  1. You will now configure the web server settings
    1. Click the "Server Configuration" link
    2. Next select "Mime Types".
    3. In the "Custom MIME Types List" at the top, click "add". Create a MIME type of "text/html" and add an associated extension of "jsp". (Note: Setting this is the "magic sauce" which makes Abyss a viable webserver. I tried a few other servers like Fenix but they didn't support adding a JSP extension and without this your browser will just try to download the file locally instead of displaying it). Mime Types
    4. Click "OK". You should have a banner prompting you to click "Restart" to apply your changes. Do so now.
    5. Give it a few seconds to restart, and then point your browser to "http://127.0.0.1/"
    6. Browse away!
