I want to look for something to replace my inverted front springs without really going for a true "lift", and without creating a need for a bunch of fabrication. just something affordable I can do until I can afford some decent springs with a 2-3 inch lift later on. I was thinking front leaves out of an 84 or 85, if they fit right, any suggestions?

Thanks.
I also found some sprigs on Flea-bay for about 200 with shipping made by superlift. Maybe tomorrow morning after work, I'll attack my truck with my jack to see what the difference will buy me.

RUF is literally cheap and good. You dont' see that very often. If i was in your shoes i would...

1. RUF
2. Rancho 3" Rear Springs (cheap)
3. Pull up the rancho website and find some suitable socks.
(Rancho is just easy for me to get, and they stand by their lifetime warranty if purchased through Oreillys)

rears up front require you to re-locate the hangers because they are longer.

I also did not relocate my mounts and I used a straight but longer shackle ( I'm too cheap to buy the boomerang style). I did notch a half an inch off the front part of the cab mount for clearance of the outer shackle. I used 2 extra leafs and the overloads for 3 1/2" of lift.
