Hi all,

Maybe a stupid question. Im pulling off the trim getting my rig ready for paint. When pulling the front side vent, i noticed the front driver side was connected to some inner vent inside the front fender (u can kind of see it in the pic) but nothing on the passenger side. Am i missing a piece inside the front passenger fender?

If not, could this be a source for water to get into the inner front fender well. I get a small pooling of water from heavy rain at the corner of passenger side foot well. Ive seen very small drip along the inner footwell (passenger side only). Hope i make sense. Thanks!

Thank you both!

@Lead Head thanks for confirming on the leak. Ive addressed both those issue. 1) did the rain gutter (grided to bare metal, epoxy, self leveing seam sealer) and 2) new oem front windshield gasket and will install per manual.

Was seeing it there is anything else need to address while getting it ready for paint.

Crossing my finger!

Thanks

By the way, be prepared for the bottom of the windshield frame to be rusty and destroyed. Mine certainly was.

Mine leaked into cab footwell from the brake booster as it was replaced without a seal between the firewall. I replaced the seal along the hood and it fixed the problem for now. That hood seal was OEM and the new one sealed it back up.
