Howdy! I sanded down the bottom end of my DS front fender. It has rusted out for about 5" in the skin, and a little in the support beam. How have you guys been dealing with the support beam? Have you popped the tack welds at the top and bottom and then opened up the trailing edge to pull it completely out? I did try the search button, but I did not find a detailed thread on this. John
 
Howdy! Now that I have had more time to look at it, I think I am just going to pop out the 2-3 tack welds at each end and pull out the support beam. With a lot of practice, and patience, maybe I can MIG it up without having to add much, if any more steel to it. It doesn't have to be pretty cause it is always out of sight. John
