Looking for any thoughts on a random front, passenger side squeak that has developed in last 24 hours. Video link below.

‘09 with 195k miles.
Icon lift installed at 125k miles with SPC uppers.

At first I thought it was a squeaky brake pad since I’ve heard this sound before but the sound does not change or go away when I tap the brakes which leads me to believe its elsewhere.

It sounds rotational but to be sure, I regreased uppers.

Could be a wheel bearing but usually those grind in my experience.

Any thoughts?

While it’s squeaking...hit the OFF button on your climate control and see if it goes away...

I get an occasional squeal out of my passenger vent fan...

Should have mentioned that. Hvac blower motor was my first thought. Turned it off and rolled down window; noise not only persisted but became very obvious that is was coming from the front wheel area.

Maybe try rocking the vehicle while parked/stationary. If squeak prevails, you can rule out bearings or any rotating part.
Agreed. Last night found me in the garage jumping up and down on the front bumper and rocking the truck via the slider and hopes I could get it to replicate the sound while stationary. No dice.

CV joints rotate at the same frequency as wheels.
I was thinking CV joints as well. Similar issue(sound) when one went bad on an ‘08 I had. They replaced the right cv joint and axle connecting. Not cheap but cured the issues obviously

Could very well be it. They are original. Not leaking at all but may have @OTRAMM help take a closer look.

The closes thing it sounds like to me, is tire brake pad shims that need some anti-squeal. That said, anything I've dealt with that before, the sound would abruptly stop when tapping the brakes - not the case here.

Anyone familiar with a product called Breakfree CLP? Can this be used on the driveshaft, other moving parts under the LC without harm? I know it’s great stuff for guns.

Ck the rear upper shock mount bushing and washer stack. Remove the shock and inspect for upper shock shaft contact with frame. The hat or pilot washer and after market bushing have been a problem in the past. The bushings soften with miles/time and look ok but no longer keep the hat/pilot washer centered resulting in a sound known as "The Dreaded Clunk". If the hat/pilot washer augers out the mount you may be hearing the shock shaft rubbing on the frame.

Thanks for the note and will check this. The sound seems very rotational but given that it is still a mystery, anything is worth investigating.
Ryan at OTRAMM drained the rear diff fluid and everything looked good. Ran a camera inside and again, everything seems fine. Not super eager to pull the diff (yet) if everything seems fine.
Still hunting...

This may sound silly but have you driven it through a car wash with an undercarriage sprayer or through a rain event and noticed the sound to go away?
