Front door speaker cover replacement

Going to order replacement speaker covers for my front doors. Part numbers 6760960020A2 & 6770960020A2 (06 LX w/ ivory).

Do these pop in/out from the outside or do I have to pull the door card off?

Pretty sure they screw on from the inside.

You will have to remove the panel... great time to do the door weatherstrip as well, perhaps ad some sound deadner and spray some woolwaxin there...

ah I was afraid of that. I watched a video on taking the door card off. Doesn’t seem too difficult but I’m worried I may break some brackets on trim pieces that would need to be popped off.

Any chance I’d be able to access the back of the speaker cover by just removing the fasteners along the bottom edge?

Much easier and more durable if you just paint them. Cloth covers just don't last.
