front dif lock light coming on (1 Viewer)

This is kinda weird, I was pulling into work today and my front dif lock indicator light started to come on, dimly at first but slowly getting brighter.
The dif lock was not engaged so in an effort to clear the light I engaged all the locks, they worked fine, and they all disengaged normally but the front lock indicator is still dimly illuminated.

What the heck?

Change it or swap it with another. Cover with black tape!!!!!!!!!!

Pull the switch and clean it with electrical cleaner, also check the wiring on the front actuator at the diff.. maybe a loose wire.

Yep, try that. If the 2 wires that go to the diff lock sensor (at the axle) are touching eachother, the light will come on the dash (regardless of the actual status of the locker) You may have a short between these 2 wires.
