Does anybody have pics of the ARB Commercial bumper? I just called Slee to see if I can get one, but I would like to see it again. TIA
From the outside, IIRC, the commercial bumper looks just like the "deluxe" bumper, except the wings are narrower, i.e. closer to the body.
The commercial bumper was designed to fit flareless 80s.

The winch mounts are different though...

The commercial protrudes forward a bit more in order for the 8274 Warn to clear the grille.

The bottom lip on the center box of our bumper is actually at exactly the same point as that ARB center bottom lip. From there the ARB goes up and forward. We don't. The wings on ours are way above the bottom lip of the wings on the ARB. ARB does have the edge that the wings are supported by tubing on the top so the wing is less likely to flex upwards, but the bottom part of the wing is thin and will bend. Our wing might flex up a little when dropped on it, but the metal will not bend as easily. The strength and stiffness of the wings have been greatly increased since going to grade 80 metal on the wings.

In the new year I am going to design a new bumper for the 80 that is similar to the one on the shortbus. It will not replace the existing once since the new one will take a 9k lbs winch maximum, but it will sit closer to the body and over even better approach angles straight on and some tuube work in front of the lights.

Hey Dan, the top leading edge of your Slee winch basket is different than mine. I don't see the light tabs. Have you modified yours?

Hayes

Yes.

I made a cover plate that spans the opening.

I love the one on the short bus and can't wait to see your new design. I think it will look slick.

 Maybe I should wait...

Are you sure you don't want to make the first prototype one that will still hold a warn m12 AND cover a 1" body lift? :D
