I'm thinking a half bump-stop or strap so you could open the hatch without dropping the carrier all the way to the ground.

Hmmm... you'll have to see what I got when I'm done with it.. you might like this too. Shouldn't be all that difficult to lift with a shock assist

Man I'm rocking it today. Will have 4 bumpers done today and off to the powder coat'r. I'll be picking up the proto type (mine) tomorrow and I'll have a bunch of pics of the finished product installed on my rig with the winch and syn rope. Cant wait to see it!!!!

What do you guys thing of a dark grey light textured finish on the bumpers? Like a real dark gray... I want my stuff to be different in all regards. Let me hear your thoughts guys.

Your attempt to be different may push some away. Color is a funny thing with folks.

I like the idea of it. I hate black bumpers/wheels. Better yet offer options. Let people choose. Black, bare steel, gray, purple, etc

Heh my whole rig is an outlier. I think 3 choices would be cool. Bare, gray, black.

Agree - The nice part with the standard black PC is that is touches up perfectly with Kylon satin black

I hear ya guys. Guess I'll just stick with the black for now unless someone requests a different color. I'm gonna do mine in the charcoal grey texture though. It will match closely with the stock grey on our bumper ends in the rear and my wheels.

To answer your question though, black light texture almost like a Line-x texture and in satin.

I'm sure some people will want it bare steel. Save some costs too. I like to use rattle can on all that stuff since powdercoat is a waste of money as soon as it touches the rocks.
