Hi IH8Mud brains trust, I've got a 1988 HJ60 with the front 1/4 ventilator windows, and the LHS has developed a leak around the weatherstrip seal. The problem is, they're long discontinued, and I can't even seem to find any NOS listings for them. Three questions I'm hoping to find the answer to:
1) Does anybody know if the analogous weatherstrips from other Toyotas with 1/4 ventilator windows would fit? I know the 70 series LC and the Hilux/4runner both had the option for similar windows, but I don't know if they were the same size
2) Does anybody make an aftermarket replacement (or have some in stock)? My searching turned up nothing
3) Is there any DIY solution I could try? PO put some sealant there, but it obviously hasn't worked too well because it's leaking again...
