FREE 1968 FJ40. Have title in hand. - Offering here before Craigslist...

I bought it in 2010 and drove it for about 6 months before starting the teardown to restore it. Work, time and other interests got in the way of the project, so now it's time to move on. I do not want to part it out, so it's all or nothing and ready to be picked up. All of the parts are in my garage in Surprise.

please PM with questions

GONE!!! - that went fast.. Congrats goes to @Cruddz Hope you get your 40 on the road soon!!!

Abigail - if you got it you could bring it to Murf's Classic Cruize!

A careful read of the rules says you only have to "Bring your . . . relic" - doesn't say you have to drive it ;)

I'm going to say it 78.35% belongs to me since I facilitated this transaction. :grinpimp:

@Abigail of course you have first dibs, I've already claimed my 21.65% with the steering wheel but dont worry i have a nice adapter and Grant wheel for ya :steer:
And thanks again to @Seabeejon I'm blown away by your generosity, hope to see your little red pig on some more runs in the future,

I have some 12volt Dewalt tools with bad batteries
I know some pickup truck guys that wired anderson power poles to 12 volt tools so they can run them from their truck batteries.
What kind of tools do you have? I've been wanting a 12 volt drill motor for a while.

Kan't make the KofA trip, but I will be hitting up Murf's run and then passing through Phoenix the evening of April 26th on the way to Moab.

If either of those options won't work out then the next cruiser in line can have the tools.

thanks!

@Cruddz , before any parts leave your possession let’s make sure all of your junk is running. Sweat equity can be earned by people volunteering to go down and help Alvis resurrection 40 to completion.

@Seabeejon, very generous of you to gift the parts to a very deserving member who has helped so many. Thank you.
