As you know I value my community's sense of humor.....

At the risk of the mixed metaphor nexus of Deadpool and Venture Brothers......

.....I would like to receive a Rusty Dutch Oven from you so I can give it to my wife for Christmas.

Are you going to be around over the weekend?
Got my truck back and the Dutch Oven by extension. Still want it? I can probably pressure wash and Evapo-Rust it...?

Thanks, but I intend to eat out of it and I don't know how great of an idea that would be.

It IS used for food and not toxic chemicals now, right?

This seems to imply that it won't kill you if you drink it, but they said that about glyphosate and Teflon kills birds if you overheat the pan on your stove, just saying.

The link seems to guess that the "proprietary" chelating agent might be EDTA or it might be tannic acid.

I don't want to sound like I have brain worms or leave dead bear cubs in Central Park......but Bobby kennedy might know a thing or two about not eating stuff you can't pronounce.

Flouride is a byproduct of aluminum refining and the EPA didn't follow their own guidelines;

I'll give you a call shortly, thanks for the offer though I really appreciate it.

i don't know what my wife does to season her cast iron, we have hundred year old Griswold stuff for everyday cooking and it is really awesome.

Just wash and wire wheel and then season the cast stuff IIUC.

Yeah, never had anything but food, and rain in it. And of course resultant rust….

Three free parts store coils. Two have less than 20 miles on them, the other a couple hundred. All worked perfectly.

I am going to be up that way in a couple of weeks. If available I might be able to meet up at Safeway to arrange that trade😉

Recently put a 2F from a 60 into my 40, have quite a few misc good parts that weren't needed but came with the engine that could use a new home + my old 2F. Fire me a DM for more details, happy to share pics & add'l info:

- 1979 2F block & head for parts or as core for rebuild (rusty cylinders, suspected head gasket as original cause, but unknown if other issues). I didn't pursue because I couldn't justify rebuild costs, but free to someone interested in picking up
- 2F valve cover circa FJ60
- Aisin water pump (new, looks to be w/ oil cooler w/ fan clutch)
- Headers, believe these are FJ60 man-a-fre...missing one collector, but serviceable
- FJ60 intake manifold, pretty ratty, but appears serviceable
- 2F timing cover (I assume circa FJ60)
- FJ60 PS pump / pulley / res / bracket
- Alternator w/ tensioner (circa FJ60, unknown status or specifics, likely for rebuild)

I might be interested in the PS parts even though I don't have the PS gear box.

Update: Tundra mats gone. Highlander mats available.

I have a set of 2019 Tundra TRD Pro (Crew Max only year) black carpet floor mats. Most wear is under driver's heel but they're still in very usable condition. would clean up nice. I switched to rubber, as I always do.

Same goes for a 2013 Highlander set in tan carpet largely unused as we pulled them out at the 10,000 mile mark to replace with rubber mats. They've been sitting in the attic rolled up since.

Figured I'd try to re-home them here before taking to Goodwill.

PM me for location if interested.

Parts store coils. One has about 1,000 miles on it the other two less than 20. I hate to throw them away.
