I removed this rear view mirror from our 1970. The fasteners are not concealed as they are with the OEM. However the holes do line up with the mounting holes in the windshield frame and I believe that it is the proper pewter color. Free to a good home if you pay the shipping cost.

Good Evening Green Bean,
Do you know if the mount setup would be the same for a '67 as is it is for a '70?
If yes, I'd be interested in this mirror.
I still have some time until my rig will be on the road so haven't invested any research into mirrors yet.
Thank you.

For the OEM that I recently installed part #8781060050, the microfiche it shows production date of 03/1969-09/1977.

IIRC, the mirror changed at the same point that the dashpad was added. So if you have a dashpad, you should be good to go.😉

1st dash pad is 1968!
I bought a March ’67 with a dashpad and a coarse spline ball and claw front end back in 1987. That is the basis of my statement

Thank you all for this info.

Green Bean, I am still interested. Especially given the costs of correct replacement. Please can you PM me if I am first in line.
You can make an adapter plate so you don’t have to drill extra holes in the windshield frame, like I did. We had a MUD member who made a batch, but he passed away last year.☹️ Your sig line says your rig is a ‘74; you should be fine.

Thank you 65swb45. Was thinking there should be a way without needing selftappers. The ‘74 is complete, I have a new project that is a ‘67.
Thank you Green Bean. Will check and update.

Thanks again Green Bean, received today. Know that you are traveling but should mark this as "sold" to save your inbox.
Anybody happen to know the correct screws/ bolts for a 1967 windshield frame, perhaps whitey45 or 65swb45? Seems like possibly an M4x?? but not finding anything in misc. bolts bin that will work.
