@RevISK, the square bezel has been born, as well a hard top version! I even created @devo's and South American hard top. There are 100 sku's to upload so it will take me a day to get these uploaded to the store.

Hi Rob. I like that recommendation. I removed the license plate for the same reason, which is why I had those fog lights crammed into a tight place on my Cruiser in the first place. I actually laughed when you said “in the drawing”, but I don’t like them on the real Cruiser, either. They were free replacements for the lights on my fenders as those have a flaw in the circuit boards, but these were way too big for the fenders.

While we are on the topic of proportions, I have been thinking of making the tires a touch skinnier in the drawing. Thoughts? I made them based on the size of Ian’s tires, and it looks good but something about the drawing doesn’t look to be factory spec to me.
Concerning proportions, for the classic cruiser look a bit skinnier tire would look more correct imo. Our trucks look great in real life but something about the art draws me more toward the skinnier tires.
Also might consider the later windshield with the lower wiper motor and the round early turn signals not really matching.

Will definitely be ordering one of these when they hit though no matter what you end up with from here on.

Needs a bigger clock dial, too hard to see the hands. The hands should have the transmission shifter and range selector knobs on the end. The long one could have the bend.

This is a great idea! Maybe one day I will venture into the custom clock making business. Sounds like a fun retirement gig.

You can buy battery electric clock guts cheap. I printed a bunch of custom clock dials for my dad using AutoCad back in the day. I also made several gallon of clock cleaning juice to his formula in organic chemistry lab for use in his clock cleaning machine. I have the machine, no juice - will try it when I take my speedometer a part in a few months.

I might just make me a LC clock.

Even on a different thread I still can't nail down the year.

Haha. Are you following me around? I posted here to have some fun on a Friday. To loop others in on what Ian is talking about, I’ve offered a free shirt to the first person who guesses the year and model of the vehicle outlined above.
