Found LX with Great Service Records But Dealer is Repairing Oil Leak...?

I took the truck to my local Toyota dealer here in Atlanta first, they said that the cam tower leak was normal and offered to just clean the engine and they would not try to process any claim on the CPO warranty. I have used the same mechanic for ten years on all of my land cruisers once they leave warranty. I took the truck to him and he said “ I can do Toyota Warrantee work also”. He was great, he has always been honest and great to work with. He is Craig Automotive in Marietta GA. He worked on my FJ40, 62, 80, 100, and now the 200.
 
He did warn me when I moved from the old 100 to the 200 repairs would cost more...

Does that mean, he is gonna fix it and charge Toyota under warranty?
 
Toyota’s CPO warranty is through Fidelity and does not have to be performs at the dealer. Not sure about the 36k standard one.
