Hey Georg
I will buy it, send it to you, and you can restore it for me.
What say you?

send LV and blank check! :grinpimp:

fwiw, i paid about $5k for "orange" and it had been sitting for 20 years. the body was in good shape although there was some rust in the rear passenger floor area. it did not run, the reg was way out, three tires were flat, the seats were junk,......so it's not like i was able to drive it home.
that was before the net got popular and you could only find these things by word-of-mouth and in the truck trader. now it's easier to find deals on them but still, it's a 45. they have not gotten any more aubundant...........

Yep, I hear you, I hate to even think what I paid for mine. 4k and it was almost complete and very little rust. Drove a day to just to get to it and a day back all in a 2 and half day period....in the middle of winter. We ate lots of tacos since we were low in funds and and lot of thumbs up from total strangers on the way back which made up for it.

I got the engine running but was knocking....I found a bent push rod and pulled it and hammered it straight. it's still in there and running. I have a couple of replacements I have yet to use. The first part I every bought for it came from Georg(thanks again). It was a gas paddle assy., pretty rare part I may add and very generous in Georg's part for offering it. Then several years later I found a hood and a steering wheel in better condition so I drove down to Arizona to pick it up. I don't regret it one bit and I have met a lot of people in the process.
