Custom made

I had Adam @ Custom Welding of Lexington build pretty much the same bumper for me.

TJM T15 Steel

no winch, though it is winch compatible.

stock tow hooks installed on the forward 2 holes in the bottom of the bumper-supporting frame buttresses. these would be in the way if entry angle needs to be maximized.

"I love that! Did you build it yourself? Any pics of how you put it together? I'd like to build something similar for my LX450, just gathering ideas right now."

Yeah I built it in my garage, I didn't take any pictures while I was building it (cameras to nice to touch, I was dirty!).It was a lot of fun to build, I like seeing my visions come to fruition...

ARB winch bumper with MileMarker 10,500 hydraulic two-speed winch (I know I need a hook). Lights are LightForce 240 XGT's. The bumper was sanded and sprayed with U-Pol bedliner material to match the flares.

Standard ARB. Love it.

My recent custom. Inset HID lights, pull points made with heavy plates mounted directly to the frame, sits in closer to the body ( 4" vs ARB 7.5"), wraps around underneath to fully enclose A/C dryer.

Custom front bumper on my '91...

I always liked the look of the Short Bus, but can't afford one in the forseeable future.
Started accumulating steel a couple of
months ago. I did all the flat stock cutting and drilling, had a
couple of local welders do the welding and bending.

The bumper my friend and I built. Not bad for two carpenters with a plasma and a wire feed, eh? Made to fit a Warn 12000 lb. Will eventually make a hoop and light guards for it. It has diamond plate on the top sides. The middle will accommodate the flair lead. No bolt holes have been drilled yet for the winch. All built out of 1/4, 3/16 or 1/8, respectively. Weighed in at 65 lbs. With bolts and scrap steel it came to about $50 and I got many of my ideas off of this thread. What do you think?
