He sent over pics of the "problem areas" and that was the final straw - nothing big, just lots of dings, missing stuff on the inside, wear and tear. The "other" straws were that I would have to pay off his lien and then wait for title, which I guess is more common now, but I have never done that before,and then the distance down there vs here. I also found a VERY clean rig here in Garner, so it made perfect since to move on.

Find out anything? Not aware of a 1990 Collectors Edition! That was a '97 offering. 3rd row seats were also not an option on a 62 but I have heard of people putting some in.

I will delete the link from my post. Typical Craigslist. Good news though, if all goes well timorrow, my CL ad for the Jeep will be closed and I will have some folding money to find a 100 series.

That thing is about 2 miles from my house on Richbourg Rd between East North St & Edwards Rd. Has been sitting in the "mud bowl" of a front yard for a few years now, as he's been building a pond/waterfall. We exchange waves when I drive by in one of our Cruisers.

Hey neighbor! I have driven by your shop hundreds of times and never knew you were there until I entered the LC world. Tempted to stop by but I have no budget to risk being tempted.

Stop by! Stan's a good egg, I doubt he would try to talk you into something you shouldn't spend $ on!
 
Stop by any time, temptation is good for the soul :) I am no salesman, that's for sure. Just don't park near any of the other 80s, I think they're in heat....

Selling the rear swing-out bumper off of my 80. I'm wondering if this was originally designed for a 60 series, and then adapted for an 80. There was a 60 on the main forum with what looked like an identical bumper. Anyway, make me an offer.
 
Saw these on a Facebook groups today. First thought was a start towards a off road trailer. May be more work than its worth though.
