I got one off a 72" fj40.
I've got a friend trying to get rid of her 2001 lexus rx300. Awd, v6 good shape with 130k miles on it. Anyway, she was thinking $6k ish but I bet you could pick it up around $5500. Good deal for the mileage on it. Hit me up if you're interested.

If any of you guys need a new way to spend money.... Apparently there's an App called "Offer up" that's like a mobile Craigslist... My mom sold her broke down Subi in less than 2 hours.... Just sayin...
I'm going to keep on driving it til I get a buyer. Then of really like to do a 2uz and a750 swap, which seem to be pretty reasonably priced. Or an LS swap. Depends on what I come across first, but the 2uz really has my interest.
We need to talk about conversions. My oil consumption is getting to a problematic state I believe. I only have 163K on the clock. Not sure if I want to rebuild, swap a non computer V8 or a Toyota in there.
I'm going through the same thing..I got a 78" 2f sitting in my garage waiting to be rebuilt, and tbi'd, but the v8 thing keeps being brought up. I figure it would cost about the same to go either way. Dilemma...
Not sure if it will help, but my vote would be a TPI (tune-port injection) small block Chevy. Less wiring and $$ than an LS, the motors are designed to be biased towards tq, still have the +s of EFI, and you can find parts at any auto parts store. Keep your trans and t-case.
If it where me I'd have the head gone through and re-ring/freshen up the bottom end. The 1fz is a great engine and not really worth swapping out unless you want a fun lengthy project. But either way we'll chat soon
I'm donating a mini van to a guy in need. I'm looking for a set, or at least a pair of 14" tires for it. Currently it has 195/75/14's but beggars can't be choosers. Anyone got anything laying around for free or cheap? The current ones are bald and old, corded on one and leaking on another, I just can't send this vehicle away like this.
I randomly met this guy and I'm now working on his bmw. It's a nice little car, it's at my house if anyone is interested. Seems like a good price to me. No rust, really original and clean.

I finally drove the rx300 over to our house to help my friend sell it. Here's the specs. 2001 lexus rx300, 136k, pearl white paint in perfect condition, tan leather seats that need a cleaning but don't have any tears. It runs and drives perfectly, this thing is absolutely silent inside. She's kept up with all the maintenance and it has newer tires. The lowest she will take is $5800, I'm gonna give it a week and then list it on Craigslist, it's really too nice to sell to a stranger.
I found every maintenance record from 0-62k, then she bought it at 92k and she has every receipt from then til now. Timing belt was supposed to be done at 90k, she's gonna call her mechanic to see if they have record of it on Monday. I'll check under the hood tomorrow morning.
