Ya, wrong year(s). Those are for a early "low light" ghia. They don't quite fit them from what I have read. They've been on CL forever.

I think if he ran a pintle hitch his truck could be on its side but the trailer would remain upright? Dent, do you have to run tires with a high ply count on the sidewalls due to your constant struggle with gravity?
