Looking for a relay rod end for my FJ62. The long one on the driver side that connects the pitman arm to the relay rod. Mine is busted out a little too much to rebuild. Needs to be in good shape or easily serviceable. :wrench:

Worst case PM "arcteryx" here on 'mud. Look in the classi's

He has several 80's he is parting out. I've bought several things from him and thought the prices were fair.

^ This guy is parting out several trucks. Not sure if he has a 60 or an 80 rod will will fit, but I got mine from him; $50 shipped to the door.

My Baby Brother...........!!

My brother will be arriving here Sunday night and we are headed for South Umpqua Falls on Monday for a day of relaxing and visiting. He had mentioned earlier that he may be interested in purchasing a revolver from a private party if he has time. Anyone in the club have anything to offer?? Not sure how he plans to pull this off considering he will only be here from Sunday evening, Umpqua Falls Monday and then departing on Tuesday morning pretty early. Anyhow, just a thought, Chris.

Nyaaa...aaah...aaah...............:D You never know what's really going on huh?

I have that cheap-o .380 auto if he wants something. I know its not a revolver, but its priced right.

I will let him know Ty, thanks.

Have a Flowmaster Delta 50 for sale. Little too loud for my tastes. Has about 16k through it. 2.5" slip ends, it was clamped so there is some deformation in the ends that might be remedied with some heat and a t/p expander, or you can cut the ends beyond that and probably still have enough. Have on cl for 35, it'll be 25 for anybody here who wants it, thanks....Dylan

My buddy is trying to sell his 1970 FJ40, you may have seen it on CL with an awful description and even worse pictures. Anyway he was asking $2999 and then he hit me up and I guess he's desperate for money because he came down to $1500 without me even negotiating with him. I almost pulled the trigger but then I went out and looked at it and it was scary! If anyone has a ton of extra time on their hands you're welcome to it. Just know everything was done with an arc welder after drinking a half rack. This thing does run and drive but I'm not sure I'd want to know how far you could make it before dieing a fiery-no-brakes-and-even-worse-no-steering-death.....

List of mods:
-Chevy 350, 020 high nickel content block, edelbrock performer manifold, quadrajet with a messed up adapter, headers to a newer exhaust although it doesn't look great... runs rough but serviceable.
-Spring over axle needs front end cut/turned something fierce.
-8 shocks (2 per wheel) all pointed in different directions! (Custom hack)
-Camaro PS box with at least 4 nuts on one of the bolts for spacing?!
-Crossover steering going to tie-rod instead of knuckle.
-4 wheel drum brakes with a hydroboost system out of a chevy diesel. Some of the drums work some don't. Hard lines hanging down randomly.
-Has 3 speed trans but the front of the bellhousing was cut off and rewelded (poorly) in order to make it adapt to the 350!? Is that normal?
-Clutch slave cylinder was welded to 3 different chunks of flatstock with a bolt welded in as a spacer in between them. (clutch actually works surprisingly well)
-Shackle reversal although the rear mount doesn't go through the frame but instead sits below the frame making the pinion point toward the ground. Looks relatively clean besides the only partial weld job.
-Custom extended front driveshaft with a nylon/duct tape limiting strap on the suspension so the flex doesn't separate the front driveshaft.
-Radiator from ?? held in with zipties. with custom cobbled together hoses.
-Custom blank dash overlay with beer cap glove box cover.
-Chevy steering column welded to the bottom of the dash but the welds broke so it kinda flops around a little.
-Rear mounted battery box with wires rubbing against the gas tank.
-Household electrical box with aftermarket fuse block inside. Wires going everywhere and there isn't 1 grommet in the whole truck. I found a large ground wire chaffed completely through passing through the tub 6" from the gas tank.
-Can't find transfercase lever? There's a hole just no lever. (probably custom)
-Nasty seats front and rear from some other vehicle.
-Rollbar with the top half cut off for roof clearance. I believe its made of water pipe. Also your head sticks above it so that way you land on your head in a rollover thus negating the worry of having water pipe for a rollbar.
-Random holes cut with a cranked up arc welder (guaranteed jagged and ugly or your money back) Some holes there for no apparent reason
-35"x15.50 TSL bias plies down to the wear bars.
-It does have a roof and doors (roof has custom sunroof cut in it).
-Surprisingly little rust although there is some in the rockers.

Here's the pictures. Not sure if they really do it justice or not but if you are still interested after all that its yours for $1500. I'm passing on it which for me is unheard of...but that's how bad it is!

sell his 1970 FJ40

Thanks for the punch list. Not interested and it makes me feel sad to have a FJ40 hacked so bad. I'm on my 3rd restoration of FJ40's AND I don't even want this truck for parts. Here again great job on the modification list. Bye, Ty2

I agree, except for maybe some taller meats and just a few "bells and whistles" I appreciate the look of a stocker over a highly modified rig. Also the work in keeping it up and believe it or not, just the ability to resist the temptation to "go nuts" with modifications.:)

WANTED:

i need a guy at my real job.

REQUIRED:

A BRAIN.

looking for a slightly above entry level type guy.
prefer a guy who has some real experience.

i need someone to start doing tires, oil change basic type stuff.

my personal requirements are: someone involved in a (the) hobby. basically i dont need someone who doesnt do some kind of motor sports on the outside.
i think its really a mentality.

my company is very litigation minded so the very obvious applies. a physical and drug screen are required. company is corporate and is as good or bad as you make it.

i need someone who works on everything like its their mom or ladies car.

come to work on time
do what i say. quick and fast.
go home.

pretty basic stuff.

shoot me a text.

****.

you dont have to be a smart ass :flipoff2:

Actually, I think he does......I've noticed that tendency from him! And I know what you mean Aric. It seems like it ought to be easy to find someone with those basic skill sets- and the courtesy and sense of responsibility to be on time, reliable, and enthusiastic about what they are doing. Seems like these days it's hard to find anyone who doesn't think his personal life and his cell phone take absolute priority over all things. When you are "on the clock" your focus should always be work. I don't think they've been teaching that for quite a while. Good luck. Anyone who needs someone with a brain but no experience can always use my son Bobby. He'll be reliable or I'll kick his Azz..!:p

i have a craftmatic adjustable bed.
got it when wifeys gma went home.

barely used. sized double. works fine. i slept in it a couple times its pretty nice.

like to start around 500 obo

also trade for landscape (large rock or cinder block) or fencing material. (to build fence, not sword fighting) :flipoff2:
